Sambell Lodge Development Update

Plans are progressing for our new development on the current Sambell Lodge site.  We have recently completed a major planning phase where our appointed architects, Jackson Clement Burrows  modelled three concepts for the site and presented to School Council:

Option 1:  Specialist learning area (eg Art, Music, STEAM)

Option 2:  Junior School 

Option 3: Senior School 

Utilising the site as a Senior School has been determined as the most ideal scenario, namely as it provides students with  logical and aspirational movement throughout the school (P-2 in the main building, 3-4 in the Organ Factory Site, 5-6 in the new development).  Safe movement between our three campuses was also a critical consideration in this decision so it made sense to have the older students there. 

Six design principles have been identified to guide us through the next phase . We hope to gain between 8-10 classrooms in this new building.  Please contact Karen Dileo or Megan Smith if you would like further information.
