Student Wellbeing News

Active April

That's a wrap for another Active April. Well done to all the students and staff who participated and made it a great success.

The student team tallied a total of 263 hours and the staff team 109 hours. Big shout outs to Mr Hitch for tracking the most staff hours and the Feely family for tracking over 100 hours between them!

Keep up the healthy lifestyle and remember to get active for at least 30 minutes a day!

Respectful Relationships

In response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence, Corpus Christi Kingsville is committed to promoting and embedding Respectful Relationships and gender equality into our school’s ethos, vision and values. In our school the focus is on treating everyone with respect and dignity in the hope of creating real and lasting change in the lives of our students, staff, families and the wider school community.

Below is an overview of the topics and units that each Learning Community will be exploring throughout this Term:

Year Prep -  Understanding and managing emotions

Year 1/2 - Building and strengthening friendships, positive relationships and respect

Year 3/4 - Our strengths, understanding and coping with stress, individual identity and positive relationships

Year 5/6 -  Personal strengths, stress management and seeking help.

Year 3/4 Update

In this activity, the children were required to work on a physical challenge. Each class attempted the four chair challenge where they were working toward balancing their weight evenly in order to remain in position once the chairs were removed.
