Visual Arts

Term 2 in the Art Space is all about drawing for all year levels.

We are gratefully accepting cardboard roles and boxes (from foil, gladwrap etc) and plastic bottle tops. You can drop them off in the office or children can bring them to me in the Ngranga Learning Space.

Come and view the amazing collaborative student artworks in the Wirrigirri building. These works are the result of exploring art elements lines and symbols during our Term 1 ‘Colour Story’ unit of inquiry.

Stop Bullying-wear RED day - Monday 6th May

On Monday 6th May we are having a "STOP BULLYING DAY"- we are asking children to wear RED clothing to demonstrate as a school we say NO to Bullying.

We are asking that all children and staff wear RED to say STOP- we dont ike bullying. As a school it would be great to show our support against bullying especially at Assembly by a sea of red. This is a good opportunity to talk to your children about bullying - what is is and what to do if they expereince bullying.

Thank you for your support

CANCELLATIONS

It’s  important when your child is booked in to OSHClub and your child is absent from school or goes home sick that you CANCEL your booking. If you are unable to do it online, text us on 0428 671 093.

In the case that your child is booked in and isn’t in OSHClub before 3.10pm we activate our missing child procedure.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

How exciting your children will have opportunities to take part in after school activities. If your child is booked in to OSHClub but will also be attending an activity they MUST come to us first to be signed in and then I will take them to the activity and also pick them up again and bring them back to OSHClub.

SPARE CLOTHES

It’s always a good idea to pack a spare set of clothes. We have had several children have toileting accidents and unfortunately OSHClub doesn’t have any spare clothes to be able to change your child into, the last thing we want is for your child to be uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Thank you

Cheryl

An interesting read for you....
