Regional Cross Country

On Wednesday June 19th, thirteen Greenvale Primary School students attended Bundoora Park to compete in the Regional Cross Country.

The Regional level of competition is one step below State representation, so the competition was of a very high standard.

The Greenvale Primary School students competed with great determination, resilience and spirit, experiencing a mix of results across 2000m and 3000m races.

Our highest achieving student, Matthew placed 9th in the 12 year old Boys event, earning a place in the State Championships in early Term 3.

All students should be extremely proud of their efforts, your willingness to work hard to improve your performance is a credit to yourselves. Keep persevering in Cross Country next year and you will go a step closer to State representation.
