Division Athletics

On Wednesday this week we had several of our students compete at the Division Athletics Championships, conducted at Knox Athletics Track. All students performed brilliantly!

A big congratulations to the following students:

9/10 Girls: Julia Lindhaus (1st Triple Jump)
9/10 Boys: Mads Peacock (4th Discus) Sydney Nielson (4th Shot Put)
11 Girls: Beti Millen (800m, 1st 200m) Taya Sunderland (4th Triple Jump) Ettie Smith (1500m)
11 Boys: Zac McKelvey (80m hurdles, 800m) Reve Cashmore (Discus, 2nd Shot Put) Oliver Freedman (Triple Jump)
12/13 Boys: Gulliver Kozel (80m hurdles) Jason Abraham (3rd 100m, 1st 200m)
12/13 Girls: Alexis Wilson (4th 1500m), Jacinta Purdham (80m hurdles, 4th Triple Jump)
11 Girls Relay – Taya Sunderland, Anna Ballard, Kit Bell and Beti Millen – 1st place
12/13 Girls Relay –Jacinta Purdham, Alexis Wilson, Brooke and Alyssa Brown– 4th place
12/13 Boys Relay – Myles Kellett, Jason Abraham, Kai Michalski and Gulliver Kozel – 1st place

A special mention to Charlie (Mad’s Mum) who was an outstanding assistant to me on the day.

All students who finished in 1st or 2nd place will progress through to the EMR Region Championships on 17th October – well done!
