Eureka Swimming Sports 2020

On Thursday 5th March, 52 students from Beaufort Secondary College travelled to Ballarat to compete in the Eureka Swimming Carnival. Although the weather presented as cloudy and drizzly with rain, the students represented the school in an excellent manner, and were strong competitors.

We finished 4th overall on 389 points, which was a great result.

All competitors should be extremely proud of their achievements.

On the day we also applied some great pressure to the other schools within our medley and freestyle relays. Our 18-20-Year-Old Girl's Freestyle Relay Team was successful and will progress through to the GWR competition. The team was comprised of Ashleigh Crowley, Tayla Stanaway-Barker, Victoria Homan and Sarah Boyd-Whatmore. A big congratulation to those girls.
