Respectful, Responsible, Successful

Girls' Basketball

Congratulations to Miss Saliba and to the Girls’ Basketball team who beat Sefton High School 56-31 in an absolutely dominant display on Thursday,

23 February 2023.

Right from the outset, our team showed that they meant business. They lead 8-0 within the first few minutes and started extremely well with some intercepts, steals and a couple of fast breaks.  A special mention to Eva Karajcic of Year 8 (pictured) who played very well and displayed great leadership skills. Eva has also been selected in a NSW representative squad outside of school.

Year 12 - Early entry into university

Over the last few years an increasing number of students have been accepted into university through receiving an early offer. These offers occur before HSC marks and ATAR scores have been made available. The following tips will help students and families who are interested:

  • Check the early entry criteria with the university that you would like to attend. Check the university website. If you need further help, speak to someone who works in admissions.
  • Some things that will help your application for early entry include:
    • Excellent grades - Year 11 is extremely important.
    • Extra-Curricular activities - Sport, arts etc.
    • Community service.
    • School Leadership - SRC, Captain/Prefect, House Leaders.
  • Universities are looking for well-rounded students.
