At the show, we had a number of students representing our school.

This year the show introduced the Performance Pavilion, which allowed a great opportunity for our dance and music students to perform at the show. All performers did an amazing job and even managed to endure the hot conditions.

On Friday and Saturday of the show, thirty students participated in a variety of activities including junior judging, parading and showing cattle.

In the junior judging, Will Lynn and Hughie Winter placed 1st and 2nd in the vegetable section. Aden McBain placed 2nd in the Merino sheep section, Connor Grob placed 3rd in the grain section and Will Lynn and Jayden McIntyre placed 1st and 3rd in the Meat Sheep section. Other students were asked to speak on the day.

In the paraders' competition, all students had the opportunity to participate with a couple of students making the finals in a very tough competition.

On Friday evening and Saturday students had the opportunity to parade Speckle Park and Angus Stud Cattle for Winter Speckle Park and Milby Vale Angus. The students acquitted themselves very well and gained quite a few ribbons including broad ribbons for the studs. It was a busy weekend that started with a boot camp at school on Thursday and finished with the Grand Parade at the show and a walk back to school with cattle.

Thank you to the Winter Family and the Miller Family for allowing the students to work with their animals. Thank you also to Campbell, Morgan and Jess who gave up their time to mentor our younger students.

Congratulations to all the students for their dedication and hard work over the weekend. It was a pleasure to have you as part of the show team.
