Country Universities Centre

KHS Senior Students visit the CUC

Senior KHS students had their first visit to the Country Universities Centre in Belgrave Street Kempsey on Tuesday 28 February. The aim of the visit was to introduce students to the space and to showcase what the Centre provides students completing their HSC.

The Centre opened in March 2021 and offers multiple work areas for students, smaller study rooms for a quiet study experience, computer and printer facilities and a kitchenette for when a study break is needed. Conference facilities and larger lecture rooms also create opportunities for a more collaborative study experience.

CUC Centre Manager Kinne Ring an ex-Kempsey High School student and a member of the Kempsey High School Alumni Network (KHSAN) says "The CUC can assist students at every step of their journey, from choosing the right course, navigating the enrolment process, applying for financial assistance, understanding the language of university and having a quiet space to study,". *

This is a fantastic opportunity for our senior students to utilise this wonderful space and all of the facilities it offers.
