What your colleagues have been doing
Chinchilla Melon Festival
It has to be seen to be believed – 20 tonnes of watermelons smashed, skied on and eaten as part of a festival devoted to produce grown in and around Chinchilla on Queensland's Western Downs.
Sponsored by FN Chinchilla (Qld), Melonfest returned this year after a four-year COVID hiatus to attract up to 15,000 visitors to see all the fruit-themed events.
Chief Executive Ray Ellis was there to support the FN Chinchilla team and their community, after bushfires ravaged several Western Downs towns in the past week and the sad attack on police in Wiembilla last December. It was a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the success of this year’s crop.
FN Claridge shows how it’s done!
Down at FN Claridge (Deloraine, Tas) Paige Haberle has consistently been encouraging her team-mates to do video updates, ever since she attended one of our social media training days, last year. This month, Maddy McCall stepped up to tell us that the team leased 8 properties in January. Well done, Maddy!
FN Cairns Central investment seminar
Way up north, the FN Cairns Central team has arranged an investment briefing with guest speaker, Uwe Jacobs from Property Friends. With indicators favouring Townsville and Cairns, would-be investors will hear about how to identify the best investment properties, build a team of experts to help them succeed, and how to develop a customised plan to maximise their return.
Saved by Forget Me Not
FN Mudgee (NSW) sales agent, Robbie Palmer, was well enough organised to make sure he did not forget Valentine’s Day last week, but his agency was also smart enough to put out a reminder for everybody else – reminding them that local florist, Forget Me Not, had everyone covered with last minute gifts and flowers!
We put you first
FN City to Surf (Beenleigh, Qld) was spotted going the extra mile, but this time for some planter box herbs that were much in need of some protection.
Renovations underway
At FN Woodgate Beach (Qld), principals Michelle & Patrick Cocking decided that some termite damage repairs were a great reason to freshen up the whole office. With a divider removed and a fresh coat of charcoal paint, the office looks much more open and inviting.
Awards haul
FN Copper Coast (Wallaroo, SA) had a great night at the SA/NT GEM Awards, with principal Megan Hill sharing her team’s trophies on social media. Congratulations everyone.
FN Riggall takes out two ‘top agents'
At FN Riggall (Prospect, SA), Heather Dunn and Brad Stevens each won Rate My Agent’s top agent in their suburb of specialisation last week. Congratulations Heather and Brad.
First National extends its congratulations to the many other First National agents who have won similar recognition locally.
