Out of School Hours Care

We have had a lot of fun here in TheirCare. The children are taking on new responsibilities like running the group time, serving fruits and main food, doing the Coles order etc.

Please Note: Anshu Adrekar (Program Coordinator) is on annual leave from the 14th until the 24th March. Meanwhile Chris Scott has offered to help to run the service along our very friendly educator, Sunny.

Week 4

This week we had fun activities planned around special days like National Love your Pet Day and Tell a Fairy Tale Day. The children wrote about their pets, drew, and colored their pictures. We learnt how to make some very cool origami animals and were thrilled about the results. One of the group activities was also rolling a dice to make a fairy tale story. It was great fun to see children collaborate, discuss and come up with the most hilarious story. This week’s favorite activity was “Word Search.” They helped each other find words and learn new ones.

Week 5

Week 5 was all about saying goodbye to summer and welcoming Autumn. Throughout this week the children are busy collecting some very interesting natural resources like textured leaves, twigs, and feathers from their surroundings. They then used their creativity and skills to make wreaths. scare crow, block prints and bookmarks.
