Italian Language & Culture during Remote Learning.

Prep students learning the NUMBERS. The Preps described their pets in Italian using body parts, numbers and colours.

Year 1 and 2 learning about different types of Italian FOOD through a story called ‘Mangia, mangia’ (Eat, eat).

Year 3 and 4 learning about ‘GELATO’ and ‘PASTA’. We focused on the history and how to make the two foods.

Year 5 writing a LETTER to their Pen Pals all in Italian to Year 5 and 6 students learning Italian at Manorvale PS.

Year 6 learning to ORDER FOOD in Italian. This activity is preparing the students for the Lygon Street Excursion.
