Instrumental Music

What a crazy, eventful, busy and challenging term it has been.  Well done to all of the students who have continued to learn online and keep up with their music education.

Tahereh, our piano and keyboard teacher, is eagerly awaiting the birth of her second child and will commence maternity leave at the end of this term. We wish to thank Tahereh for her commitment, endless patience and devotion to our students' music education and wish her and her family all the best for the impending arrival of their daughter.

We are very fortunate to be able to appoint Hyun Lee as our replacement piano teacher. Hyun is an very experienced piano teacher and multi instrumentalist. She plays and can teach piano, keyboard, synthesizer, violin, drums and percussion, recorder, Irish Pipe and vocals. I'm certain that the children will enjoy her bubbly personality and be able to seamlessly continue with their excellent music education under her guidance.

Unfortunately, Brendan, our woodwind teacher will not be returning to GRPS in term 4. Brendan has been offered an ongoing position at Camberwell Grammar Girls School. Brendan has been amazingly supportive of the children at GRPS. He is so talented. His gentle manner and quite enthusiasm will be sorely missed. We wish him all the best with future endeavours and are sorry to see him go.

We are currently undertaking the process of recruiting a replacement teacher for our Woodwind students. We will keep you posted of advancements in this area.
