PRODUCTION NEWS

We are eagerly awaiting an update from the state government regarding our return to school and the restrictions under which we must operate.

Unfortunately, at this stage, it looks highly unlikely that we will be able to perform to an audience on October 13th, 14th and 18th as planned.

As practice, the school consistently investigates all possible options for events to take place, to maintain the consistency of the curriculum and continuity of its delivery.

We are considering several scenarios at present.

Scenario 1: we will go to the theatre and film on the stage – date to be determined by the state government’s return to school plan and restrictions.

Scenario 2: we will film onsite at GRPS – date to be determined by the state government’s return to school plan and restrictions.

I have a production company booked and on standby, ready to come in with a green screen and all of their equipment to film.

Dependent upon restrictions, we hope hold an event at the school for the students as a celebration later in Term 4. Although this is not the same as performing a full-scale musical on a stage to a live audience, it will provide the opportunity for students to celebrate their resilience and achievements.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holidays.

Enjoy a well earned rest.
