Koonung staff member receives SSV Award

Congratulations to Trevor vanden Driesen who has been recognised for his contribution 

to School Sports Victoria over many years.  

Trevor was a very innovative and involved leader of the VSSSA Inner East district (2005 - 10) and then secretary for the Boroondara division (2011-14) areas. During that time he also took part in the Pacific School Games in 2006 as a liaison officer for the PNG team and as the EMR Region coordinator in 2011 in the first year of SSV's existence.

He has been involved in Team Vic Baseball (2007 – 8) and Boys 18 and under Basketball (2009 – 14, 2017-21).

During these years he was also part of the organising committees when the National Championships were played in Victoria.

Trevor was appointed to inaugural SSV Basketball subcommittee in 2011 and represented EMR up to 2017.

Trevor not only has contributed to countless students (parents and staff) relating to school sport over the last 16 years but is also a Life Member of Eltham Basketball Club, demonstrating his commitment to keeping many many young people active.
