Where are all the students?

The students loved being in the library today

It was a bit quiet but still  "hip hip hooray"

The librarian was busy getting new books ready

And had fun chats with students although not many

Because the students didn't really talk back sadly

And is has to be said: the library misses them badly

So fingers crossed you'll all be back soon

Before, everyone turns into a balloon!

MOVIES woohoo bring on 2022

'Stranger Things' Season 4 drops next year........it's been too long :(  We have a few Stranger Things graphic novels available in the library and also a few fiction books that read like the show as well, if you're interested in these please just ask!

Good news story..........

The library has been running a Book Club for a number of years now and it is really popular. Book nuts, enthusiastic readers, students who like a trivia challenge and talking all things books end up joining and love it! This year we had one very special year 7 student join the group, she was always first to help me out with bookface pictures (see below) for instagram or ideas for fun Book Club activities; sadly she left Koonung last term and is now living in Japan. Her parents didn't let her have instagram in Australia, however, she now follows the libraries page all the way from Japan! We have had a few great chats and she says she misses us all and misses the book collection even more, the school she attends in Japan has a very poor selection in comparison to us........fabulous to hear we are doing something right :)
