Tips & Tricks

Bored in lockdown? Try these new tips and tricks that are a step in the right direction when it comes to sustainability.

  1. Did you know that little lightweight plastic items cannot be recycled because they ‘fall through the gaps’? Try squeezing your milk bottle caps into the bottles so that they are taken through the recycling process!
  2. Start a compost or bury vegetable scraps in a hole in your garden! The worms will love you for it – so will your garden.
  3. Reuse, Refill, and repurpose things! Painted jam jars make great vases
  4. Collect and bring your bread clips to school – we are collecting them. Drop them off at the library.
  5. Recycle your old stationery at Officeworks.
