Out and About....

The Easter Raffle will be up and running next week. Tickets will be given out to students to sell. Each student will receive ten tickets, which will be $1.00 each.   Students have been asked to donate an Easter Egg(s) and to give it to their Student Development Leader (who each have a basket in their office).   Given that we are very aware of the devastation of the bushfires in our own State, we think it is important for our school community not to forget the affected people.  We are proposing that there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd this year in the raffle, and that all other Easter Eggs be given to a fire affected school community in Gippsland.

We are also asking if families can donate toiletry items (for teenage girls) that we can send to the relief centre in Bairnsdale. This is an initiative of the Resurrection Parish and Fr Brian, who does so much for our College community.  These can also be placed in the basket in your SDLs office.

Thanks to the VCAL girls and the parents from the Killester Involvement Committee (KIC) who are assisting with this. Any member of the Killester community who is interested in joining KIC is encouraged to contact me here at the College on lcannon@killester.vic.edu.au

Can I please remind girls that it is a requirement of school rules that the blazer is worn to and from school with the summer uniform. The jumper is not the outer garment.

Years 7, 11 and 12 camps are quickly approaching. If you have any queries you are encouraged to please speak to your daughter's Homeroom teacher.

Parents are reminded to please save a date on your calendar: Tuesday March 24th from 3.30pm - 6.30pm and Wednesday March 25th 12.00pm - 8.00pm there will Student Learning Conversations in Kennedy Hall. Students are expected to attend with their parent(s). Information regarding the online bookings for these meetings will follow shortly.

EdSmart is up and running for 2020. It is important to ensure we have your correct email address so that you receive all forms for excursions and/or camps.. Please advise the front office of any changes.

Best wishes
