Toddler 1

October newsletter2019

This month toddlers got busy in so many different activities. Children enjoyed and learn through their play building relationship with their peers and educators. This month we concentrate on hygiene practises, packing up toys after playing  and sharing with peers. Encourage them for group times reading short stories. All children were encouraged to participate in group activities and to share the resources, take turns and engage in so many meaningful conversations. These conversations require us to connect with our children on both a cognitive and an emotional level.

We celebrated Himmat's  2nd birthday in toddler 1 room. Children enjoyed the cake we made.

Celebrations this month

Special persons day:- Thankyou to all the families who joined us for special person day for afternoon tea.

world space week :-Space week is one of my favourite weeks of the year. We love creating, playing and exploring with the theme of outer space and this simple Space Activity to learn about stars and planets and earth.

Diwali and children's week :- Celebrated the festival of lights this Diwali by getting them involved in a few easy Diwali crafts for kids. Children involved in doing so many activities related to Diwali like cooking experience . We coloured the sand and make rangoli patterns.  We experimented with Henna tattoo, discovering new patterns. We also put Indian traditional bindi on  decorated diya's.

Our children's week theme was happy, healthy and safe. All the children's were busy in doing so many activities. They were quiet happy and settled in the room .

Thank you Aman and Monica
