PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Welcome to our new newsletter platform!

Dear Parents, students and College Community,

Welcome to the brand new look for our fortnightly newsletter - Highlights. We are very excited to launch, and the new iNewsletter platform allows us to not only keep our high expectations for college communication, but to centralise and categorise information logically for maximum impact.

iNewsletter is mobile friendly and very easy to read on your devices. When published, we will send a summary email to your email address. You can also see the most recent edition and the archive (after time) on a new sub-page of the BSC website - https://brightonsc.vic.edu.au/inewsletter/. We will also post a link into the Compass newsfeed once published.

Parents, staff and alumni members have been automatically added to the iNewsletter database. If you are, or know someone who is, a community member or College Alumni, encourage them to submit a request for subscription to our newsletter through the webform at https://brightonsc.vic.edu.au/inewsletter/

Each edition will take much the same format - the calendar dates will span the whole term and will stay in the same place; general notices have their own section and will remain in each edition until they become obsolete; uniform information has it's own space; key learning and curriculum areas have their own pages where multiple articles will feature; the College Council and PFA have dedicated space; and community event posters and the like will sit in the 'Classifieds' section for those interested.

We anticipate that iNewletter will allow parents to have a resource for College information that they refer to, and information, if amended, will automatically update, so you can always go back to your email summary and your links will still work.

The College welcomes input and constructive feedback from you. Please feel free to send an email to brighton.sc@edumail.vic.gov.au and we will pass it on.

I commend the new platform to you, and I hope you enjoy the new look!

Sincerely,

Mr Richard Minack

Principal
