Additional Careers Notices for Senior Students 

 

HDSC VET Taster Days – Year 9 and 10 students (who do not currently attend HDSC)

The 2021 HDSC Taster Day will be held on the morning of Wednesday 16 June. The program will involve students participating in 2 x 50 minute sessions in their chosen VET areas, from the following options:

  • Certificate II in Kitchen Operations
  • Certificate II in Building & Construction (pre-apprenticeship)
  • Certificate II in Automotive Vocation Preparation
  • Certificate II in Hair & Beauty (dual certificate)
  • Certificate II in Creative Industries (Media)
  • Certificate II in Information digital media and technology

If students are interested in VET opportunities at the HDSC in 2022 and are not currently attending HDSC in 2021, they may be able to attend. Students must express their interest by emailing Mrs Churchill by Wednesday 26 May.


Year 10 and Year 11 students who are considering careers in Agriculture? See the flyer for information about the ‘Defying the Drift’ program that is scheduled for 20-22 September (school holidays).

If students are interested in this program, they must contact Mrs Churchill to discuss how to apply and request sponsorship.
