Sandhurst Student Leadership Day

On Tuesday 18 May, two of our outstanding leaders from Year 12 gave up their time to attend the Sandhurst Student Leadership Day organised by our College Leader, Mr Tim Campbell and Catholic Education Sandhurst Secondary Education Consultant Ms Leonie Irwin. 

The day was designed and organised to allow student leaders from across the Sandhurst Diocese to meet, network and listen/interact with guest speakers to learn more about leadership and in particular, ethical and servant leadership. 

Guest speakers on the day included the Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst Mr. Paul Desmond, Mr. Darren McGregor (Principal, Marist College Bendigo), Michael Chisholm (Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Education Leader - CEO Sandhurst) and Kate Wilde (The Human Development Workshop). 

The day was extremely positive with all students commenting on the skills and knowledge learnt. 

Well done to Archer Ritchie and Dulcie O’Connell for your participation and leadership shown on the day (an incredible effort given it was a student-free day).
