Fountain Restoration

We’re delighted to announce that work has commenced on the restoration of our 124-year-old fountain which has stood pride of place on the front lawn at St Joseph’s College since 1897.

HBS Group has been appointed to carry out the works which will be ongoing for the 2021 school year.

We ask that students, staff and visitors to the school please keep clear of the work zone during the construction period. For safety reasons, a significant portion of the works will only be carried out during school holiday periods.

The St. Joseph’s College fountain is a symbolic feature of our school that connects students, past and present. It has always been an important focal point – acting as a central location for congregating, a meeting place during events, and a familiar backdrop for photographs.

The restoration project is expected to be completed by the beginning of the 2022 school year, and we look forward to seeing water flow once again from this magnificent historic landmark.
