“Dolly’s Dream” Mother’s Day Treasures Stall

The Library ran a Dolly’s Dream Mother’s Day Treasures Stall outside the College Library Thursday 6 May to fundraise for this important cause, create awareness around anti-bullying, and give our students the opportunity to buy lovely Mother’s Day gifts for just $1 or $2.  Funds raised were $232.55.

The goal of Dolly’s Dream is to encourage discussion around changing cultures and behaviours to prevent bullying, by increasing understanding of the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression, and youth suicide and by providing support to parents.

Thank You

We would like to thank the Echuca library for their generous donation of 150 Young adult books to add to our collection.

Library and Information Week 2021

Library and Information Week was held 17-23 May, organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).  This year the theme was “Adventures in Space and Time”, recognizing that Libraries are places of adventure where people take a journey in search of specific information, by browsing collections, or by coming together with others to learn. They are also online spaces for virtual interaction to stay connected to

information and each other at times when we need to stay physically distant.

This is the Library and Information Week display (right) still up in the College Library.
