Celebrating 25 Years to Catholic Education

25 Years of Service

On Friday 7 May, the Catholic Education Sandhurst community celebrated the outstanding contribution of ten committed staff and two of those staff members were our very own Glenn Roberts and Dale Ryan. Both Glenn and Dale have given 25-years-plus service to Catholic Education. Glenn and Dale were recognised with a Jubilarian Mass and dinner which took place at St. Brendan’s Church and then the Park Lake Restaurant in Shepparton.

The Executive Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst, Mr Paul Desmond, paid tribute to the Jubilarians. “It is fitting that, as an educational community, we gather to give thanks and pay tribute to those who have served Catholic education for 25 years,” he said. “As a people of faith, it is also appropriate that we acknowledge the richness that each Jubilarian has brought to our Catholic schools. In so doing, we recognise their remarkable contribution which we know is so often borne of long hours and overt commitment to the young people and families which comprise our school communities. These men and women have been authentic gifts to Catholic education here in the Diocese of Sandhurst and beyond,” said Paul.

Glenn and Dale were presented with a commemorative badge during the Mass to celebrate the significant milestone.

We thank Glenn and Dale for their commitment to Catholic Education over the past 25 years and we particularly thank them for the contribution that they have made to the St. Joseph's College community during that time.
