Bunjil Nest Excursion...

On Wednesday 5th May, the Preps journeyed down to the Balnarring foreshore to partake in a day of learning with Balnarring Kindergarten and Balnarring Primary school and members of the Bunjil Nest Project. The day was incredibly fun, engaging and full on new learning. We danced, sang, learning about Bunurong traditions and words for animals, plants and instruments. A highlight was a visit from The Funky Farm in Hastings, who brought some native reptiles, birds and Marsupials including a Wombat! We were blessed with fantastic weather and for many Preps, once they had their first journey on a bus, they couldn't wipe the smiles of their faces! 

Our first school excursion was such a success!
