How to recycle this waste.

Foil, for example:

Must have no food stuck to it.

If it has food scraps - like cheese - put it into landfill.

Make into a ball if you have enough to make a tennis size ball, if not put foil scraps into like material, like a used soft drink can

Plastic bottles

Plastic bottles - no food residue - wash out

No bottle tops - remove and recycle at St Joe’s

Remember only milk, water and soft drink bottle tops - all other tops go into landfill.

Glass bottles, jars

Glass Bottles - no food residue - wash out

Metal tops need to be removed and can be recycled by putting into a tin can. Crimp the can so the lids don’t fall out and place in the recycle bin.

Pizza boxes (small amounts of grease only. If grease has soaked through the cardboard, please place the bottom in the rubbish and top in the recycling bin)
