Year 10 Textiles  

On 14 August, the Year 10 Textiles class travelled to Spotlight Mentone to purchase fabric and materials to construct a corset. Our task is to create a corset based on our chosen Australian Designer’s aesthetic and display it in the end of year fashion show. We found the staff helpful by assisting us throughout our shopping experience and cutting fabrics if necessary.

Whilst some stocks were limited, we all found suitable materials to suit our Australian Designer.

Overall, we enjoyed this experience and look forward to creating our corset.
