Principal's Report

Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse

Dear parents, friends and Father Arsenio,

I hope and pray that the current lock down has been bearable for you all to date. I have been logging in most mornings to the various google meets and the welcome I get form our students is first rate. They are there in numbers and I appreciate that it takes a bit each day from the staff through to the parents to get to this point, and I am grateful. We will be seeking feedback as I mentioned in my video update, however if there is anything in the meantime please don't hesitate to let me know, preferably via email.

Please keep in mind that the staff are not only preparing lessons each day (reflective of the previous learning) they are also writing reports, preparing for a major school review, preparing for parent / teacher interviews and for some of them, teaching their own children as well. We are looking at what return to school will look like and again if you have any feedback please let me know.

I am particularly grateful that our (mostly) year six students were able to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation recently at the cathedral. One parent reflected that this was already a highlight of the year. I think we will strive for several more but this is a good one nonetheless.

Have a great week.

Duncan
