7G Design a new Australian Flag competition

Last term in Civics 7G explored the ways that Indigenous Australians were disadvantaged in the past and present. One activity was to design a new Australian flag that they thought better represented Australia today. The task was to not only design a flag but to explain why they included certain aspects. Entries were accepted in both digital form and done by hand. Thanks to the judges, Janine McMahon, Jonathon Rogers, Brooke Soffici, Sema Yildrim, Jarrad Donders and Taylor Turton.
