During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	Week 4: To understand how to summarise a fiction text. Week 5: To understand what notetaking is.
Writing	Week 4: To publish my writing using different forms of media. Week 5: To understand how to write an information report.
Maths	Week 4 and 5: To understand division.
Inquiry (Health)	Week 4: To understand the definition of immigration and why and how it has occurred in Australia. Week 5: To explore what happened after Europeans arrived in Australia.
Social & Emotional Learning	Week 4:To describe and compare the roles commonly given to male and female characters in traditional fairy tales. Week 5: To understand what it means to be grateful.
