Hattie has shown excellent perseverance and work ethic when writing sentences in Literacy sessions. She always demonstrates excellent listening skills and contributes to class discussions. FK | Grace Day | Kindness | It’s wonderful having Grace in Foundation K. She demonstrates kindness to all of her friends by being there to help them. Grace is always willing to help with a job in the classroom and if someone is feeling lonely, she is there to help. Well done, Grace! |
1A | Sienna Davis | Kindness | Sienna always displays kindness towards others and is a wonderful role model to her peers. She is an active listener who respects the thoughts and opinions of others. Sienna brightens up our classroom each morning with her positive attitude and big smile. Keep up the amazing work Sienna! |
1D | Chloe Day | Curiosity | Chloe demonstrated wonderful curiosity on our excursion to Como House. She asked interesting questions about how people lived in the past and was able to read the clues to solve the mystery trail. It was great to see her enthusiasm and passion for learning. 1H | Fox Parkinson | Curiosity | Fox showed a sense of curiosity last week when we visited Como House. He answered a range of questions posed by the educators and made thoughtful contributions to discussions. Fox often asks questions about what we a learning, to try and gain a deeper understanding of topics. Keep up the wonderful work Fox! |
2H | Isolde Russel | Creativity | Isolde has had a great start to Term Three. Her artistic flair and attention to detail have resulted in her creating fantastic work pieces. The class is always blown away with her dedication to doing her best work. Keep it up Isolde! |
2P | Bella Ribeiro | Bravery | Bella has shown bravery this week, demonstrating her positive attitude and enjoyment at school. She attended our Indigenous Walking Excursion and some specialist subjects this week with enthusiasm and excitement. Amazing work Bella! Keep it up! |

3M | Willow shows great dedication to her learning. She is a focused learner who always gives her best effort to all her tasks. Last week Willow showed excellent attention to detail during our visualisations focus. She was able to utilise the text and her own imagination, to design creative illustrations. It was wonderful to see Willow also challenge herself to write her own descriptive visualisation too! Well done Willow! | ||
3T | Jasper Sonneveld | A Love of Learning | As with all other subjects, Jasper has shown keen enthusiasm during our concert dance rehearsals. He is always quick to pick up the steps and never hesitates to help out a friend when they’re finding a particular move challenging. Keep it up Jasper, I can’t wait to see you on the big stage on concert night.

4Z | Joben Krueger | Kindness | Joben is new to Black Rock Primary and has adapted extremely well to BRPS. In his short time here, he has made many friends and has become an asset to 4Z. Joben has particularly shown his expertise during our gardening and dance sessions, helping others and giving them advice. You are a wonderful class member and we are extremely lucky to have you in our class. |
5D | Hunter Hill | A Love of Learning | Hunter has made a fantastic start to his learning journey in Second Semester. He has come back from the holidays with a great positive attitude towards the new learning opportunities. Hunter has been a real asset to the discussions in class and when working with a group. His statement was well written and demonstrated a solid understanding of the lesson’s objectives.
