Term Three
Adrina - For the last couple of weeks, the Year Sixes have been working hard on their autobiographies and have enjoyed reflecting upon their past and thinking about their goals for the future. They have all thought deeply about their lives and what to do with them. We started planning by drawing timelines and drawing life maps. I enjoyed writing about my past because I actually found out quite a bit about myself. Although we did not have a whole lot to write about, being alive for only 11 or 12 years, the Grade Sixes really appreciated writing their autobiographies and constructing our timelines.
Isaac - The Year Sixes this term have been working on our Autobiography this has been quite enjoyable. It’s really nice because you appreciate those little moments a lot more. As you write you get to know more about yourself and get to hear about your peers lives too. I enjoyed writing about gymnastics and explaining what I do and how I do gymnastics. I also took pleasure in writing about my life in the future.
Jude - In the last couple of weeks the Year Sixes have been educated about Autobiographies and how to write them. Personally, I feel that writing these is a great opportunity to remind yourself about your past and go down memory lane. This tells me to always be grateful for what I have got. I enjoyed writing about my ambitions for my future life and my life map.
Jenna - In the past week or so, the Year Sixes have had the pleasure of honing their skills in the writing genre of autobiographies. We may have not had too much to write about, but it was still interesting, nevertheless. Personally, something I enjoyed was constructing our life maps and learning more about the lives of my peers. The thing I took the most pleasure in writing was about my future ambitions.
