Prep Incursion

Last Friday morning we had a visit from our local Fire Services.

It was all action from the moment they arrived, with PE students having to halt their games to make way for the fire truck's entry into the school grounds.

Water hoses were unleashed from the truck and while some firemen had already begun talking to the Preps in their classroom, a call came through from the station dispatching them to an emergency!  

The Fire truck hurriedly left the school yard (they did leave a rather large hose behind!) only to return later that morning to finish the important business of chatting with our Prep about fire safe procedures.

Then the fun part.........inspection of the fire truck and taking turns of using the fire hose.
