Parent Involvement
We warmly welcome parents to engage in various aspects of school life. Your involvement not only enhances the educational experience for your child but also strengthens the sense of community that makes St Joseph's a special place.
We provide a variety of ways for families to become involved such as the following groups and events:
St Joseph’s School Advisory Council whose role is to support the Principal in the provision of Catholic education in the school community. Board members are elected bi-annually.
St Joseph’s Parents and Friends Association, a fundraising organisation that works towards shared school goals. Our dynamic P&F team organise a range of whole school events that rely heavily on our active parent community support.
Functions such as School Fete, Cake Stalls, The Footy Classic and Raffles are held at various times throughout the year.
Working Bees which run twice yearly.
Parent helpers to assist in the classroom as well as the supervision of children on excursions and school camps.
Please note it is a mandatory requirement that all parent supervisors assisting with excursions, classroom work or coaching, have a current Working with Children Check. Applications can be obtained either online or through Australia Post.
