Father's Day Celebration
On Friday the 1st of September there will be a Father's Day celebration that will include a concert from the foundation year level at 9am. More details will be published in next week's newsletter. Please contact the school if you can assist with this event or contact Yan Zepf (Curtis)

Matinee: 2pm - 3.30pm Cast A students with Surname A -K plus Main Cast A
Evening: 6.30 pm – 8 pm Cast B students with Surname L -Z plus Main Cast B

Bookweek
Friday, 25th of August: Author Visit: Lucinda Gifford
Lucinda Gifford is a well-renowned children's author and illustrator of picture books, junior books and longer chapter books. Students will be participating in sessions with her to celebrate the wonders of literacy from a real-life author's perspective.
Tuning into Kids Week 6 Expressions of Interest
We are looking to potentially run this 6-week program for parents in Term 4. It will be open to a small group and will be held at Toorak Primary School in the hour before pick up.

Picture Plates
Turn children's artworks into something they'll treasure forever.
TPS is excited to help the children create their very own melamine dinner plate with their own design or drawing — and it's something that you can keep forever.
Children are drawing a special picture in class next week and we encourage you to order a plate on Qkr for $28. The 25cm melamine plates will be created and available for collection at the end of Term 4- just in time for the festive season!!

Pupil Free Day - Monday 6 November
A pupil-free day will be held on Monday 6th November followed by the Melbourne Cup public holiday on Tuesday 7th November.

Be a Cake Lotto Winner!
Cake Lotto weekly tickets are available on Qkr for $2 per ticket. (Tickets close each Friday at 10 am). Winners are announced at Friday's Assembly. Volunteering to bake a cake is easy.
