SUSTAINABILITY NEWS

Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to be back working with you this year, after spending last year with my new little girl, Mira. I’m excited to work with the Sustainability leaders Sienna, Thien An & Henry.

This week we began by revisiting our leadership speeches and what it means to take on a leadership role at Trinity. We brainstormed lots of Sustainability project ideas we would like to be involved in this year, as well as some questions we have and things we need to find out, such as which vegetables and flowers we can plant at different times of the year, and which plants are indigenous to our local area and how we might find out.

We are looking forward to getting our hands stuck into the vegetable garden very soon!

NUDE FOOD DAY - RETURNS NEXT THURSDAY.

We ask students to choose foods which create no rubbish to bring for lunch on this day. Some great ideas can be found at https://www.nudefoodday.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/HOW-TO-PACK-A-NUDE-FOOD-LUNCH.pdf
