Regional Roads Victoria

We have been advised of ongoing roadworks across Ballarat during 2022.  Please drive safely.

The Victorian Government is investing more than $60 million to upgrade six traffic hotspots and surrounding roads to improve travel around the city and reduce the risk of crashes at key intersections.

Project summary

We’re delivering the upgrades over the next three years with the first one starting in late-2020. We want to minimise the impacts while we’re making Ballarat safer and improving traffic flow, that’s why we’re staging the projects from now until completion in late-2022.
