Sarah Porto

Sarah joins us as a classroom teacher of Italian and French. Sarah most recently worked at Thomas Carr College as a teacher of Languages.

When asked the following questions Sarah commented: What I am most looking forward to in working at Kilbreda? "Is experimenting, creating and making Italian and French fun for my students to learn.”

My first impression of Kilbreda is “this is a maze!

An interesting fact about myself is “that I am very fascinated by languages and the process of acquisition that lies behind it.”

My inspiration to work in education “comes from the idea that many people struggle with learning a language and they shouldn’t give up but find the way that works for them.”

Wei-Yi Wang

Wei-Yi joins us as a classroom teacher of Mathematics and will also be part of the tutor learn  program in 2022. Wei-Yi is an experienced teacher with a demonstrated history of working in both independent and government schools across Prep to Year 12. Wei-Yi most recently worked at Melbourne Grammar School.

When asked about her first impressions of Kilbreda, Wei-Yi commented that “Kilbreda has such a welcoming and loving environment and a strong community where I feel I belong here. I look forward to working with our Kilbreda girls and being part of their learning journey.”
