Senior Sub School Update

I would like to welcome all students and parents to the senior school at Melton Secondary College in 2022. We hope 2022 will have fewer bumps than 2021 but regardless of any challenge we face our students, parents and teachers will always rise to the occasion! A great example of this was the amazing success of our Class of 2021. Our Y12 students, irrespective of the challenges they had last year, finished 2021 with outstanding achievements and success. This demonstrates that when our parents, students and teachers come together our community will always flourish.  

I also want to welcome our Y10 students and parents to the senior school. Moving into the senior school at Y10 brings together several years of education and turns our focus to the final years of secondary education whilst mapping out a future pathway. It is big step for our Y10 students, but I am confident with their commitment and their effort to meet our College Values over the next three years, they will be set for an extremely bright future. Welcome Y10!  

Furthermore, to continue our quest for high levels of academic growth in our senior school, we were fortunate to have a new senior school study hub created at the end of 2021. The new study area will provide an improved study space for our senior students where they can apply and improve their study habits while receiving the support from our senior teachers. This is a wonderful new resource for our senior students which will help them achieve high levels of success!   

Lastly, I look forward to working with each parent and student in the senior school this year. As a school community when we keep our College values and Expectations at the forefront, we achieve great success together!
