Victoria Police Rowing On The River Holiday program

As Term 1 continues for our Melton Secondary College students, we want to give a big shout out to our students who were actively involved in the Victoria Police Rowing On The River summer holiday program. This program was hosted by the Essendon Rowing Club in partnership with Life Saving Victoria.

The program, which occurred at the end of January, gives young people an opportunity to connect with peers and organisations such as Life Saving Victoria and Victoria Police mentors, while learning important life skills such as teamwork. As part of the Victoria Police youth engagement initiative, the Rowing On The River program also provides opportunities for young people to participate in water sports to spark their interest in pathways such as water rescue and emergency management response.

Melton Secondary College students continue to be privileged to access these types of programs through Victoria Police. We look forward to future Rowing On The River holiday programs!
