Georgia Taylor represents Victoria as Captain of her team
TEAM HOCKEY & GYMNASTICS
Our sports girls have been making state-side plays at their chosen sport. Congratulations to both these young sportswomen. Academy is very proud of student achievement and endeavour in or out of 'the gates'.
Georgia Taylor, 10 Blue, recently represented Victoria as Captain of the State u15 Development Team at the recent Australian u15 Hockey Championships in Newcastle.
Holly Thornton, Year 9, is an acrobatic gymnastics athlete and was recently chosen to represent the Victorian State Team at the 2022 Australian Gymnastics Championships in Queensland next week. Good Luck Holly!

Lucy Diggerson at Opera Australia
Lucy Diggerson, Year 10, recently auditioned for Opera Australia's production of ‘Mefistofele'. She was successful and was offered a place in the Children’s Ensemble. Lucy has been singing since she was 3 years old and trains in classical singing with her singing teachers Alice Batt, Mirelle Morris, and Ian Andrew. She will be performing ‘Mefistofele’ in concert with the Australian Opera at Melbourne’s Arts Centre in late May and is very grateful and excited to be making her professional theatre debut!
Lucy is a member of the AMICCI Chamber Choir. Congratulations Lucy!
