Twenty Piece Challenge

These holidays will be a great opportunity to play as much music as possible and dive into the "20 piece challenge".

The googleform to download and fill up as you learn and master your selected music is here.   The challenge ends on 28 June 2022.  Most piano music now comes with a digital recording via an online app library which makes it convenient to listen to recordings during the learning process.  Youtube and Spotify are great resources too.

A repertoire rich approach enables you to switch and explore music from a wide range of styles and genres and pieces you may enjoy learning.  A balance of deep learning/polishing and exploring music creatively via ancillary activities like transposing and improvising are positive outcomes of this repertoire rich approach.   It will improve sight reading skills too.
