Year Level News

Level 1 News
Back in lockdown again and Level 1 students have taken to it likes ducks in water! We miss seeing all of our friends at school but we have had fun in our daily Webex sessions. We have also gotten straight into learning using our Matrix tasks and Seesaw, continuing our learning about procedures, chance and healthy food choices. Check out some of the amazing work we have done!
Level 2 News
The Level 2 students have adapted well back to remote learning. They have been focusing on different ways to keep healthy as part of our “Healthy Living” unit. Students have tried to focus on eating healthy and keeping their minds and bodies healthy during lockdown. They have been doing P.E. with Joe exercises and Cosmic Yoga. Here are some posters that the students have created about the importance of exercise.
Level 3 News
Despite another lockdown, Level 3 have been busy, busy, busy! We are sinking our teeth into our Term 3 inquiry topic The First Fleet. The students were shocked to learn that some of the convicts transported to Australia as punishment were their age, or even younger! We hope we can make it to Polly Woodside later in the term, but for now we are enjoying learning all about this important historical date, including the impact this has had, and still has on the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and other Indigenous Australians.
Level 5 News

There were 4 rounds including General Knowledge, Entertainment, Sports and Science. Fun was had by all the families. Thank you to everyone who made it a great night and a big thank you to our online trivia hosts, Mrs Maisey, Mr Jenkins and Miss Mayer.
