Year 3-10 Athletics Carnival Results
Congratulations to all of our students who participated in our Athletics Carnival. After so many weeks of wet and cold weather it was great to finally have the children compete. Age champions & Runners-up were as follows:

All students did their best in both field, track and novelty events to gain as many house points as possible. House Winners were as follows:

Infants Athletics Carnival
The K-2 Athletics Carnival will be postponed to next term in the hope that parents may be able to come. A new date will be advertised in the newsletter to let parents know next fortnight. As you are aware, with the current climate things could change again due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Diocesan Athletics carnival
Due to the recent announcement of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Armidale Local Government Area, and in alignment with NSW Health advice, the Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival will be postponed. The health and wellbeing of everyone involved are paramount and at the heart of this decision. A new proposed date for the Athletics Carnival will be available over the coming weeks.
Cancelled and Rescheduled Sporting Events
NSWPSSA, CSNSW Sport and ADPSC have released a list of events that have been rescheduled and cancelled. While we are hopeful that these events proceed, this will be dependent upon the COVID-19 restrictions and NSW Health advice.

ADPSC Gala day (League, Netball & Soccer): Friday 29th October @ Inverell. This will replace the Armidale Diocesan Touch Football Gala Day.
Polding Cricket Trials: 15th October @ Lismore
Polding Athletics Trials: TBC @ Glendale
Polding Softball Trials: TBC @ Wahroonga
NSWCPS Golf Tournament: TBC
NSWPSSA Boys Football Championships: 6 – 8 October @ Griffith

Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to all students who participated in the athletics carnival in week 3. There are still some field events that are to be finished during PDHPE lessons and when these are completed age champions and house points will be published.
School Sport
Students will be participating in a range of activities in a Mini Olympics for the duration of the term.
