Tony’s Pie Drive

Please support us in this Winter Warmer Fundraiser… and what better way to stay warm, than with a hot, freshly baked pie!  Tony’s Pies is a well-established pastry business in the local community that is offering a range of pies, quiches and sausage rolls for purchase this coming August. To order you simply need to visit Quickcliq, select your fave pastries, make your payment, then wait for delivery to the school on Wednesday 18th August. It’s that SIMPLE! A flyer will be sent home shortly with details on HOW to order.

Lunch Order Day

On Thursday 26th August, Rose and her team are running the first Term 3 lunch order day to coincide with Book Week celebrations. Parents will have the opportunity to order their children food via QuickCliq. Prior to this date, parents will be sent a flyer detailing all the information required to make the food order. Reminder notifications will also be sent via the Skoolbag App, so please keep a look out. Thank you.

Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast Event

Across two days in Term 3, Tuesday 31st August and Friday 3rd September, children will be given the opportunity to celebrate their wonderful Father’s or Special Men in their life with a Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast Event.  

Father’s Day Stall– will run on Tuesday 31st August. Students are asked to bring their money along with a bag to purchase from a range of Father’s Day items. They can purchase as many items as they like, for Dad’s, Grandparents, Carers or Other. Children really enjoy this event, and it is so much fun watching them smile as they decide on the perfect gift to take home. We thank you in advance for your support with this event!

Father’s Day Breakfast – To celebrate Father’s Day, the P&F are inviting children and their fathers to a Friday morning, pre-school breakfast. The event is set to start at 7:30am and will run until 9:30am. Children who attend will need to be walked over to school for an 8:45am start, however Father’s are welcome to return to the event for further celebrations.

The cost of the event is $10 per adult and $5 per child.  Food items available for order on Quickcliq (closer to date) will consist of egg & bacon rolls AND scones (kindly donated by The Village Bakery) as well as fruit and cereal. Tea, coffee and juice will also be available.

At this stage the breakfast event will occur in the SLA basketball courts on Hawthorn Street. However, a flyer with specific details will be sent home with children shortly. Trivia Night

Due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 restrictions the P&F have made the decision to postpone our Annual Trivia Night. FEAR NOT! This event will still take place and is set to occur on Saturday 13th November.  Closer to the date, further information will be sent to families regarding table bookings, cost and what to bring. In the meantime, SAVE THE DATE! We are really looking forward to sharing this evening with you 😊

2nd Hand Uniform Stall

The P&F are currently organising the next date for a second-hand uniform stall. We will advise you shortly, so please keep up to date with newsletter articles and the skoolbag app notifications for further information. We apologise for the delay in running a uniform stall, however the current restrictions are making it difficult to plan ahead. Thank you for your understanding.

As you know, the P&F work hard to ensure that each and everyone of our fundraising events is as FUN as they are SUCCESSFUL. To do this, we regularly reach out to our local community businesses for fundraising support in the form of monetary sponsorship OR donations of products/goods/services. We are asking for your assistance PLEASE! If you are aware of OR in contact with any company/individual that you believe would be able to help us with sponsorship or donations, could you please kindly contact them OR pass on their information to the P&F email (listed below).
