WHSC Students Leading Science in the Community

Peter Doherty Science Competition winners from 2020, James Burton, Casper Carey-Grieve and Maxine Farrell were invited by the Ballarat Tech School to talk to science teachers from all over Ballarat about their experience with the award.

Other presenters on the night included Catriona Nguyen-Robertson from the Peter Doherty Institute and the city for Ballarat CEO Michael Poulton.

As a follow up from the night, I received the following email from Kirstyn Hall.

‘Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to your students, Casper, James and Max.  They were very professional and spoke with confidence and clarity about their experience with the PDSA last year.  I am looking forward to seeing what they choose to explore this year, and indeed where they take their studies in the coming years’.
