Premiers’ Reading Challenge

We are excited to be participating in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge this year. The challenge is a great way for students to set themselves a reading goal – and to see their achievements over the year.

All Year 7 and 8 students have been sent sign in details for the PRC website, where they can:

  • earn badges as challenge milestones are achieved
  • mark books as favourites, give them a star rating or complete a book review

We would love to see Year 9 and 10 students joining too – they can let us know they want to join and we will send them details.

All students who meet the Challenge will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers. We will also be awarding House points to students who take part, as well as monthly prizes for individual readers and classes!

Students can see us in the library for help signing into the PRC website, or finding books from the challenge list.

Creative Writing Competition

The library’s writing competition closed early last week, and we were thrilled to see so many entries. We were impressed by every single one. The judging panel is hard at work determining who will receive prizes, and announcements will be made soon after the break.

Don’t forget we have a great range of audiobooks and ebooks for students to borrow over the break. Go to http://viewbank.eplatform.co and use the MS Teams sign in.
