Regardless of restrictions, Banyule Youth Services continues to provide support to young people, families/carers and schools via online and digital platforms. We are committed to maintaining connection that enables us to find creative ways to keep schools informed and young people supported. 

Banyule Youth Services offer support for young people in the following contexts; one-to-one support, group social/interest based programs and school workshops.

Banyule Youth Services prides itself on using harm minimization approaches that seeks to build connection and knowledge. 

School Workshops built upon Harm Reduction approaches.

As you would all know all of Banyule Youth Services workshops are completely free and have been developed in response to needs identified by students and teachers.

E-cigarettes and vaping: what you need to know

Vaping is becoming an increasing concern for parents and schools. Join us for a free, online webinar on Wednesday 30th June at 2pm AEST. This webinar will provide up-to date and relevant information on the research around vaping and trends in use among young people. Information will be provided on:  

  • Current research findings on vaping among youth.
  • Information about what e-cigarettes and vaping are and the effects of their use.
  • Strategies for schools and parents to prevent vaping among youth.

This webinar will also include time for a Q&A where you can ask any questions you may have on this topic.
