Book Club Orders are on their Way

Book Club Orders have closed and the books are flying on their way to you.  

I’m hoping to have the books distributed by early next week, if not earlier but this depends on how soon the books are delivered.  I have my fingers crossed for sooner rather than later.  

"The Big Top" Library Entrance

Our students have been buzzing about the library’s new entrance.

The theme of our Writers’ Workshop this year is “The Big Top”.  We will be exploring books with circus themes in the library during each classes’ library sessions.  This week many of the students have been reading a picture book called “So She Did” based on the life of May Wirth.  May, an Australian, was an extraordinary, bold and daring horse bare back rider in the 1920’s who travelled to America to perform in Barnum and Bailey’s circus.  We have also purchased several more picture story, fiction and non-fiction books to support the Writers’ Festival.
